Eagle Eyes – see the world like an eagle

Raptors see the world very differently from us. What you can see at 5 metres, a golden eagle can see at about 20 metres. A peregrine falcon sees so fast that it can follow its prey in a lightning-fast chase, and an owl's huge eyes gather the light at dusk.

With »Eagle Eyes« you can try it yourself. Point the camera on your phone or computer at the world around you – the garden, the school yard or the view from the window – and switch between human, eagle, falcon and owl eyes.

Things to try

  • Eagle: The eagle's razor-sharp spot (fovea) sits in the middle of the picture – everything around it is blurrier, just like in an eagle's eye. Move the spot with your finger.
  • Falcon: Everything that moves glows orange.
  • Owl: Turn up »Dusk« and compare with your own eyes.
  • The Eagle Mission: 3 levels with a timer and stars: find the mouse with eagle eyes, catch the pigeon with falcon eyes and find the mouse in the dark with owl eyes. At the end you can save your own diploma.

The camera only works on your own screen. We never see the picture, and nothing is recorded, saved or sent. No camera? You can use photos from Eagleworld instead.

Camera not working here? Open Eagle Eyes in full screen.

The page runs directly in your browser. The camera picture is never recorded, saved or sent, and there are no cookies or tracking.
