Fish Snatch – fly like a white-tailed eagle along the coast

The white-tailed eagle is Europe's largest eagle species, with a wingspan of 2.2–2.5 metres. It lives mainly on fish and seabirds and can be found along the Danish coasts.

The white-tailed eagle grabs fish from the surface with its huge talons. It does not plunge under water the way an osprey does – so the timing has to be just right. The white-tailed eagle last bred in Denmark in 1911, but in the 1990s it came back on its own, and today there are more than 150 breeding pairs in Denmark.

In the flying game »Fish Snatch« you glide along a North Jutland coast with dunes, yellow houses and a lighthouse. Watch out for gusts!

How to play

  • Watch for fish coming up to the surface – they sparkle.
  • Fly low over the fish and press Grab at just the right moment.
  • Don't touch the water with your body or your feathers get wet. How many fish can you catch in one minute?

Tip: On a phone you can steer by tilting it forwards and backwards.
