Easter Opening 2026: The Eagle Reserve Opens the Season on April 2
We hereby inform our international guests about our opening during Easter 2026. On April 2, the Eagle Reserve officially opens for the new season and invites visitors to a truly special experience.
Guests can look forward to the popular and traditional program, which this year is presented in a new and striking natural setting. With a view of the distinctive Simon Skrivers Klit in the background, visitors are offered a unique visual backdrop that elevates the overall experience.
During the winter months, the area has undergone significant improvements as part of a nature conservation program. By reducing mountain pines and promoting Scots pine, the landscape has been opened up, allowing more light into the dunes and highlighting the natural beauty of the surroundings.
At the heart of the experience is a fascinating show featuring birds of prey demonstrating their strength, precision, and elegance. Graceful horses are also an integral part of the approximately one-hour program, where the interaction between animals and falconers creates a truly special atmosphere.
In addition, visitors can enjoy engaging educational presentations and get up close to a variety of birds – from curious owls and fast falcons to impressive eagles and vultures from different parts of the world.
Before and after the show, guests can explore additional offerings. An exhibition provides insight into the world of birds of prey, while a cozy lounge offers coffee and light refreshments. After the program, visitors can also stop by the shop, which features a selection of themed products for both children and adults.
Seating is outdoors on a newly built wooden grandstand, so guests are advised to dress according to the weather.
The Eagle Reserve looks forward to welcoming both new and returning guests for the season opening on April 2.
